TIP:Experiment with different configurations of shell placement, even a side-by-side frame using two shells on their sides.

Small Seashell Photo Holder

  2. Glue two shells together so they are almost closed and let dry.
  3. Insert photo.

Map It

  2. Trim map to fit frame and attach to backer board.
  3. Hammer nails into front of frame.
  4. Attach string to nails.
  5. Attach photos to string with clips.

Glass Photo Block

  2. Trim photo to fit inside block.
  3. Secure top of photo to inside of block with tape.
  4. Fill with sand and shells.

Sand Box

  2. Cut photo to fit inside lid.
  3. Attach ribbon on either side to serve as braces to hold the box open.
  4. Glue photo to lid using white glue, glue stick or spray adhesive.
  5. Glue scrapbooking items to bottom of box using hot glue and let dry.
  6. Add sand.

TIP:Consider adding silhouetted pictures of family members standing in the sand.

Vacation Scrap Box

  2. Cut map to fit box and attach with glue. You may choose to cover the box fully or just the cover.
  3. Cut photos in interesting shapes.
  4. Glue photos to lid.
  5. Insert into box all other photos from trip and mementos.

3-D Vacation

  2. Attach background picture to frame’s backer board.
  3. On a second print, rough cut the area of the photo you’d like to highlight.
  4. Apply this portion of the photo to foam core and let dry.
  5. Use craft knife to cut around highlighted portion.
  6. Attach to background photo.
