Valentine’s Message Photos

  • Cut each piece of card stock into a heart shape
  • Write part of a message on each heart
    Tip: Go ahead and use pictures you might previously have considered out takes. It just makes it that much more personal
  • Take pictures of someone holding each heart
  • Use your pictures to create a card at a KODAK  Picture Kiosk or with the KODAK MOMENTS App

Candy Box Photo Frame

  • Remove the candy wrappers from the empty candy box. Measure the height and width of the box’s heart shape and print out a favorite photo to match the size

  • Use the bottom of the candy box to trace the heart shape onto the photo

  • Cut the photo out to fit into the candy box bottom

  • Glue the photo inside the candy box bottom

  • Cut three sides of a rectangle into the top of the candy box with the uncut edge at what is the top of the heart. Fold the rectangle down and that will be the stand for the frame

  • Glue the top of the box (with the stand) upside down to the bottom of the box with the picture inside.

  • Allow the glue to dry. This is what the back of the frame should look like

Candy Hearts Picture Frame

  • Print photos on the KODAK Picture Kiosk
  • Attach hearts to frame with hot glue (Supervise young children using glue gun)
  • Insert photo in frame.
Tips:

Layer hearts for a 3-D effect.Use hearts of various sizes to add interest.


Secret Valentine’s Day Message

  • Print small photo on the KODAK Picture Kiosk
  • Cut the photo to desired size

  • Cut paper to fit inside the clothes pin
  • Write your message in the center of the paper
  • Glue paper to the inside of the clothes pin

Heart Pin

  • Position the heart on the photo and trace around
  • Cut heart photo
  • Glue photo to wooden heart pin

Vertical Valentine’s Garland

  • Print photos on the KODAK Picture Kiosk or the KODAK MOMENTS App
  • Cut photos and paper into strips
  • Glue paper to back of photos
  • Position strips in shape of heart and tape in place
  • Attach hearts to each other with tape
  • Attach ribbon or string to top heart

Candy Photo Tube

  • Print photos on the KODAK Picture Kiosk or with the KODAK MOMENTS App
  • Create a cylinder with the photo and tape the long edge
  • Staple one end closed
  • Fill with candy and staple the other end closed

Bokeh Photo Technique

  • Set the f-stop as low as possible and the shutter speed to 1/50.
  • Cut a small heart in the black paper
  • Hold paper over camera lens
  • Position object you are photographing between the camera and the light source
  • Stand aproximately five feet away from the subject
  • Focus on the subject and take the picture

    Tips:Experiment with various distances and ISO settings.Fashion the paper cutout into a lens hood instead of holding it over the lens.

  • Write the lyrics of the song on the matte
  • Insert picture

Valentine’s Garland

  • Print about 6 photos at a KODAK Picture Kiosk
  • Using the cookie cutter, draw heart shapes on cardboard
  • Cut them out with scissors or an Exacto knife
  • Do the same thing with your Valentine’s paper and your photos
  • Spray the back of each picture with spray adhesive
  • Adhere the picture to a piece of cardboard
  • Do the same with the Valentine’s paper
  • Alternate gluing a picture heart and paper heart to the string
  • Hang in a spot sure to catch the attention of your Valentine
